Rays host three American League East opponents over 10-game homestand

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-The Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field on Friday to begin a 10-game homestand against American League East opponents. The Rays first take on the Boston Red Sox (August 29-September 1) in a four-game series that concludes on Labor Day before facing the Toronto Blue Jays (September 2-4) and Baltimore Orioles (September 5-7) for three games apiece.

The Rays and Red Sox open their series on Friday, August 29 at 7:10 p.m. Fans can purchase a Tampa Bay Times Ticket Tandem for the game to receive a special limited edition Raymond Rally Gnome. The series continues on Saturday, August 30 with a 7:10 p.m. contest. Sunday's 1:40 p.m. game is also Tampa Bay Times Family Fun Day. When gates open at 11:40 a.m., kids 14 and under will receive a Matt Moore Kids Plate with Cup, presented by Fresh for Florida Kids, while supplies last.

The Rays-Red Sox series concludes on Monday with a 1:10 p.m. contest. Gates will open two hours prior to the first pitch due to the holiday.

On Tuesday, September 2, the Rays and Blue Jays open their three-game set with a 7:10 p.m. game. The teams finish the series with 7:10 p.m. games on both Wednesday and Thursday.

The AL East-leading Orioles come to Tropicana Field on Friday, September 5. Fans can purchase a Tampa Bay Times Ticket Tandem for the game to receive a limited edition Kevin "Outlaw" Kiermaier T-shirt, only available through this offer.

When gates open for Saturday's 1:05 p.m. game, the first 20,000 fans will receive an Evan Longoria '80s Hair Band Bobblehead.

The homestand wraps up with another Tampa Bay Times Family Fun Day on Sunday, September 7 with a 1:40 p.m. game. When gates open at 11:40 a.m. the first 20,000 fans will receive a Solar Powered Waving DJ Kitty figurine, presented by Chick-fil-A.

Following the conclusion of Sunday's game, The Wiggles will take the stage as the final scheduled act in the 2014 Rays Summer Concert Series. The concert is free with the purchase of a ticket to Sunday's game.
