ST. PETERSBURG -- All Major League players think about their mothers on Mother's Day, but what about their wives and significant others, who are the mothers of their children? These are the women they love, who normally serve as the backbone of any Major Leaguer's family.

Rays players are no different. Many are young fathers, who depend on their wives to raise their families while they are on the road playing the game that earns them a living.
