Alex Colome had a tough day for Tampa Bay, giving up three hits and three runs over two-thirds of an inning.
Red Sox left-hander Felix Doubront made his first start of Spring Training after being slowed by shoulder weakness and pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings. Doubront gave up one hit while walking two and striking out two.
Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Jonny Gomes, the only two projected Opening Day starters to play for Boston, both had hits. It was Saltalamacchia's first game behind the plate in five days due to some lower back stiffness. Gomes had also been out of the mix since Wednesday due to a left knee injury.
Jose Iglesias continued to show offensive strides this spring, as he cranked a pair of doubles. Pedro Ciriaco, trying to win a utility spot, had an RBI hit.
Up next: Matt Moore will make his second appearance of the spring on Tuesday afternoon when he starts against the Twins in a 1:05 ET contest at Charlotte Sports Park. Moore allowed two runs on three hits and a walk in his first appearance against the Tigers on Thursday.
