Joyce exits early with strained left forearm

ARLINGTON -- Matt Joyce left Tuesday night's game against the Rangers with a strained left forearm and is listed as day to day.

Joyce, who started in right field, played one inning of defense and struck out swinging in the first before Sam Fuld entered the game prior to the start of the bottom of the second.

Joyce is hitting .254 with 14 home runs and 48 RBIs. He has just four hits in his last 39 at-bats.
