Farnsworth encounters rain on rehab parade
KANSAS CITY -- Rays reliever Kyle Farnsworth saw his rehab outing rained out for the second straight day on Monday.

The right-hander also was scheduled to throw on Sunday with Class A Charlotte. Bypassing the weather, Farnsworth has been moved to Triple-A Durham and is slated to pitch Tuesday and Wednesday against Syracuse.

In four appearances with Charlotte, Farnsworth threw four innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out two. He has been on the disabled list since April 6 with a right elbow strain.
