Starter James Shields pitched two scoreless innings and gave up one hit. The right-hander allowed a leadoff single in the second inning to Adam Dunn but then retired the side with two strikeouts and a flyout. Gary Glover gave up three runs on four hits in two innings of work.
Reds on the mound:
Starter Eric Milton surrendered two hits and one run in three innings. Matt Belisle tossed three scoreless innings in relief.

The Rays host the Indians on Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. ET at Progress Energy Field in St. Petersburg. Right-hander Dan Miceli makes his first start of the spring.
