Baldelli bruises right biceps

ST. PETERSBURG -- Rocco Baldelli was hit by a pitch thrown by Jason Grilli with two outs in the sixth inning and had to leave the game.

Baldelli turned toward the pitch and was hit in the area of his right wrist/forearm area.

Rays trainers came on to the field to help Baldelli back to the dugout while holding up his right arm.

The injury was called a bruised right biceps.
