Rays to kick off Loudmouth Pants trip
ST. PETERSBURG -- Following Sunday's game, the Rays head to New York for a four-game set at Yankee Stadium, and this is one of the team's themed road trips.
The theme for this road trip is the "Loudmouth Pants Rowland Trip," in honor of the 1917 skipper of the Chicago White Sox, who were the only team in Major League history to be no-hit twice in one season and go on to win the World Series. The Rays were no-hit on May 9 by Dallas Braden and June 25 by Edwin Jackson.
The team will be wearing colorful pants by Loudmouth Golf.
